Today is another solo podcast where I ramble about and challenge the meaning of fitness, and how that may change (and has for me) throughout your own journey and life. I touch on how what is 'optimal' on paper may not be optimal for you as an individual through certain phases of your life, and how imperfect but consistent action is often more effective over the long term in comparison to perfect action which you are only able to sustain for short periods. I also discuss how important it is to recognise that training & nutrition serve more important purposes than solely being a means of manipulating our body composition, and how I think more emphasis should be placed on this!
