Topics we touch on/Questions I ask Laura: - Have you personally always had a balance between your social life and personal fitness related goals, or is that something that came with time? - For most of the population who don’t have extreme goals, do you think it’s realistic for them to be able to maintain a social life whilst progressing with their goals whatever they may be? - Do you think it’s harder to do so if someone has body composition related goals in comparison to them purely being performance focused? - What approaches from a nutrition perspective do you think are good at enabling us to have that ‘balance’? - What advice would you give to anyone from a nutrition perspective who might be going on a night out where there will be food and or alcohol to minimise the negative effects the event might have on their progress? - How might they plan out their training around these occasions to maximise progress, would you recommend they train when hungover? - Is there anything we can do to minimise the negative effects of drinking alcohol?
