Noemia and Paolo D'Amico own their eponymous winery and Villa Tirrena, an estate high in the Lazio region of Umbria with spectacular views of the Calanchi valley – a natural phenomenon created by centuries-old deep scarring erosive landslides, now a UNESCO-protected area. Claudia Del Duca is a member of family-run Podere Marcampo, a country house and winery near Volterra in Tuscany's Val di Cecina, offering a stunning landscapes created by Calanchi and Balze, both unique soil erosion.
