In 2023, the dietary supplements market was valued at approximately $167.5 billion to $177.5 billion. So it is no surprise when we see headlines touting the latest and greatest new supplement, that its benefits can be overstated and lots of people get caught up in the craze. Recently, berberine has been getting a lot of social media attention, and since this is a supplement that I’m very familiar with and that I personally use, I thought I’d dig deeper into the science and share it with you.
