Hannah is a community and engagement manager at a large media agency in Dubai.The discussion centres around the recent impact of Covid on the workplace and how wellbeing schemes in the workplace have now become the norm.The CIPD health and wellbeing report for 2021 showed that, unsurprisingly, mental health and stress were the biggest causes of absenteeism in the workplace but that many companies were not tracking absenteeism and had no idea of its impact on the bottom line.The pair discuss the report´s finding on presenteeism and leaveism, what each means, and the impact each has on staff wellbeing and productivity.
