The Kitchen Island Discs Radio show is based on the Peoples Playlist, hosted by Ralph Rodgers. Content is taken from our community of music lovers, from all corners of the world in our Kitchen Island Discs Facebook group We celebrate all genres of music, for all walks of life & we have thousands of tracks posted week in, week out. We have 3 Theme Days every week; House Music Friday, Reggae Sunday & Soul/Funk Sunday which alternates weekly & every Wednesday we hold a Theme day covering all genres & different topics. This Radio show celebrates the Wednesday Theme days. In addition, we have a weekly members section on this show where one members gets to showcase & talk about 3 of their favourite tracks. We also release weekly mixes on Soundcloud & MixCloud taken from House Music Fridays which are mixed & produced by our team of resident DJ's. These mixes not only celebrate House but Disco, Reggae, Garage, Soul/Funk, 80's etc etc & in this show Ralph Rodgers selects tracks from one of those mixes.
