Co-host Dr. Jordan Karsten is a university professor and anthropologist often asked to assist law enforcement in the excavation and identification of human remains. Matt Hiskes, the show's other host, is a communications and media professional with a passion for solving puzzles. In Cold Case: Frozen Tundra, the pair work with law enforcement, family members, and the community to take a fresh, in-depth look at unresolved cases in search of answers. Season 1 focuses on the 1983 disappearance of Starkie Swenson of Neenah, WI. Season 2 is centered on the mysterious case of 20-year-old Laurie Depies, who vanished in 1992.
