Cliff and Joe regularly go to see arthouse films in London and spend ages in the coffee shop afterwards discussing them. The idea behind starting starting this channel is to replicate the discussion after the film. All of the films reviewed have been streamed on Mubi in the UK. In most cases, neither of them know anything about the film in advance of watching it. Please note that all reviews assume that the film has already been seen by the listener and thus often contain spoilers. Update (September 2021) - Joe has to take a break from doing the reviews for a while. It won‘t be the same without him! Cliff will continue to review films he has seen on Mubi. In addition, he may do some special seasons on particular directors (e.g. Kubrick, Lynch, Tarkovsky) so keep checking back for new content!
