The federal government is promising more spots for permanent residency for foreign doctors working in Canada. The goal – keep them in the country, and boost Canadians’ access to family doctors.And: Canadian travel plans are in jeopardy again this year. Air Transat pilots have issued a strike notice. The airline says if there’s no deal by tomorrow, it will start grounding flights.
