Nonage

Nonage is a noun that refers to immaturity. Our word of the day comes from Middle English, combining the Latin prefix N-O-N with the English word age. Here’s an example of it in use: Terry’s nonage was filled with all kinds of tomfoolery. But he’s no longer an adolescent, so it simply doesn’t make sense for him to behave in such an immature way anymore.
