Dr. Ruth Moore on "Integrative Care for Resilience"

Dr. Ruth Moore highlights the importance of integrative, integrated and functional medicine for building our strength and resilience. She also shares why it's so important that today's women leaders challenge the medical and insurance norms, advocate on their and others' behalf, and actively create their health and well-being. Dr. Moore mentions how her Native American heritage and personal experiences have informed her career path, which has influenced the passage of laws and ability of veterans to get the care they need.Dr. Moore is a board certified, clinical aromatherapist with 30 years experience, and is an integrative practitioner who practices spiritual psychology and specializes in both behavioral and holistic health. She completed her graduate work in cognitive neuroscience and behaviorism from National University, then earned a theological doctorate that focused on spiritual psychology.  At present, she is completing her second doctorate in Mind-Body Medicine (Psychoneuroimmunology) from Saybrook University while she works in private practice.  Her passion lies with supporting veterans who have diagnosis of PTSD or other mental health conditions.  In 2014, she founded INTERNITY, a 501c(3) that advocates for, assists, educates, and empowers veterans in their communities. To learn more and connect with her work: www.internity.org
