Introducing... Outrage & Optimism

Here’s something very special for all the Who Cares Wins listeners. If you enjoyed the recent episode with Christiana Figueres, why not check out her podcast, Outrage & Optimism. Lily was lucky enough to be interviewed by them back in 2020. And here is another episode from the series, where they spoke to US activist and Intersectional Environmentalist Leah Thomas, discussing inclusivity and elevating unheard voices. Abigael Kima stepped into host with Christiana, an African activist who is launching her own podcast elevating African voices in the run up to COP 27 - Hali Hewa Podcast. Having three strong female voices from the US, Costa Rica and Africa talking about inclusivity was really powerful. Leah and Tom discuss why environmental rights are human rights and that this is an emerging train of thought in both policy and in grassroots environmental spaces. People need them to not only enjoy life but to survive. You can have a listen here. https://www.outrageandoptimism.org/?__hstc=95163971.df921f839a31b1f7a201964cb1e8bd97.1653301563294.1653301563294.1653580115257.2&__hssc=95163971.1.1653580115257&__hsfp=711141870
