Ep 47 starts with Susie's kids' sports schedules that has become more complex as her husband is now a coach for their younger daughter's basketball team.  Susie is very particular about her alarm clock times. Susie's dad thought being told that Susie was a "busy body" during parent-teacher conferences was a compliment. Ed got a mild case of gout from not being able to stop eating Korean fried chicken - in addition to making dakdoritang (Korean spicy stewed chicken).  Susie gives her opinion on Stanley cups and talks about her new Owala water bottle.  Ed understands cuteness-aggression because of Archie and can't stop smelling him because of the "puppy scent".  A white man adopts a Black baby and asks "Black Tik Tok" to educate him on his adopted baby's hair - transracial adoptions require a lot of thought and education. An American teenager about to start college is murdered in Gaza after going to see the land of his grandfather.  A woman ditches her date after getting a feeling that he may be racist and the man follows her home.  The woman from Houston - Rho - who alleged she got hit with a brick turned out to have lied about the brick - but even if she hit first it does not justify hitting a woman.  Susie recalls her experience as a woman and the assessments women have to make in nanoseconds of meeting a man.  Ed and Susie read a couple of listener write-ins... A non-Asian listener writes in about her experience as a white woman and how she is able to relate.  Another listener writes in relating to Ed's experience - spoiler alert - Ed cries again.
