Simon Duffy MBE joins the Wax/On team to talk about his new mouthcare brand Waken, and Bulldog, the hugely successful male skincare brand he created and sold. Simon talks about finding the market in the gap for both products: shopping in New York was the inspiration for Bulldog, whilst supermarket shopping here in the UK inspired him to launch Waken. He also give his point of view on the differentiation versus distinctiveness debate, and says with Waken he aimed to make all his competitors look very similar. He explains why there's no such thing as a low interest category, just low interest products.
