Stepping into the realm of medicine, Dr. Parker achieved a significant milestone in 1986 by attaining a Bachelor of Medicine Degree, subsequently contributing to General Practice. His dedication to obstetrics led him to complete the Diploma of Obstetrics in 1992, followed by the prestigious Specialist Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1999. Dr Parker's intellectual pursuits extend beyond clinical practice, encompassing a diverse range of research interests. His work spans topics such as preterm labour, obstetric emergencies, ectopic pregnancy, endoscopic surgery, polycystic ovary syndrome, metabolism, and the broader landscape of chronic diseases. With a profound emphasis on evidence-based medicine, he has published numerous research articles, demonstrating his commitment to bridging the gap between scientific inquiry and practical applications in clinical settings.
