Andrea Newton And The Power Of Uncomfortable Conversations
Unpause the Menopause Podcast - A podcast by Morven Shaw - Tuesdays
Having uncomfortable conversations is hard. But they can be so important, essential in fact, in improving our wellbeing and potentially saving lives. Our guest today is Andrea Newton. Andrea describes herself quite simply as a 56-year-old woman from Cheshire, but Andrea is one brave woman. She's here today to talk about how her mental health deteriorated in menopause, to the point where she made a plan to end her own life but her focus is now on enjoying her life rather than ending it. Now she specialises in supporting mental health as a qualified menopause and suicide prevention coach as well as an author and speaker. Today, Andrea bravely shares her journey and we're so grateful to her for doing so. If you're feeling low, teary or even teetering on the edge, do please join us for our conversation today and know that you are not alone.
