Just activate them on YouTube.+++ Do we think that Germans should be more patriotic? Was it difficult to have our university degrees recognized in the other country? What did our parents say when we told them we were going to move abroad? It's time for a Q&A episode, so we asked you guys on our Instagram page (@understandingtrainstation) to ask us questions and we went through them and tried to answer them as best as we could.  P.S. When Josh talked about having his university degree recognized in Germany, he's referring to this government agency: https://www.kmk.org/zab/zentralstelle-fuer-auslaendisches-bildungswesen.html Mentioned videos: EP29: Where It All Began - An Interview with Josh's High School German Teacher▸https://youtu.be/m0V3CT0vuTA EP13: Josh in Germany - Moving During a Pandemic ▸https://youtu.be/KpFrtKhfy6Q You can listen to this podcast/watch it on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Podbean, Amazon Music, and iHeart Radio! Om Podcasten

In our podcast “Understanding Train Station”, we (Josh and Feli) explore the intricacies and pitfalls of living between cultures. The title is derived from the German idiom “Ich verstehe nur Bahnhof” which literally translates to “I only understand train station”. Similar to the English saying “It’s Greek to me”, it is used to express a lack of understanding which is an all too common feeling when dealing with another culture and living abroad. Feli (aka “Feli from Germany” on YouTube) is a German living in the U.S. and Josh is probably the most “Germanized” American you’ll ever meet.
