In this episode Nick looks at three recent and important cases. The first case considers the test for allowing an employee located outside the UK to bring a claim in an English Employment Tribunal. The second case looks at alleged discrimination against a fixed term worker whose income protection claim was rejected because of the terms of the relevant insurance scheme. The third case confirms that, when identifying which employees transfer under the Transfer Regulations, it is not sufficient to consider just the percentage of time spent in the business which is transferring.
