On episode 372, Jason (@theTVaholic) is joined by Kei Haynes (@TVwithKei) from PilotWatching.com (@PilotWatching) and Mike Moody (@MikeMoody) of Mr. Robot, Oh! (@mrrobotpod) and the Permanent RCRD Podcast Network (@permrcrd) to talk some renewal news and then recap our adventures attending the ATX Television Festival Season 6. (Start times of each segment/topic) ATX Television Festival Season 6 Recap (00:02:22) We started out by talking about how many previous seasons we have attended and then we went over what we did each day at ATX Television Festival Season 6 in Austin, TX (@ATXFestival). We went over what panels we attended and pointed out our favorite moments throughout the weekend, including some of the best things we ate and whether we will be back again for Season 7. Shows that had screenings and Q&A panels that we talked about included upcoming series GLOW on Netflix and Snowfall on FX, present series Fargo on FX, The Leftovers on HBO and Playing House and Suits on USA Network, old shows doing cast reunions like Battlestar Galactica and Northern Exposure, the cancelled too soon shows like The Black Donnellys, The Middleman and Sweet/Vicious, and others. We also talked about panels we attended regarding how writers got their first break, socially conscious sitcoms, writing friend relationships, writers drawing from their own experiences, actors turned directors, the unknown and unexpected and many others. Thank you to the all that attended the Third Annual ATX TV Podcasters Meetup on Saturday night. It was fun seeing many of you again and getting a chance to meet some new faces. You can also listen to our past ATX Festival recaps for Season 3, 4 and 5 and our Season 6 preview. Are you going to check out FX's Snowfall? Are you a fan of USA Network's Playing House? What panels we talked about would you like to have attended? Are you going to ATX Television Festival Season 7 next June? Did you enjoy this week's guests?
