Christopher’s mom, Academy Award and Emmy Award-winning actress Loretta Young, was one of the first major motion picture stars to not only embrace television, but leave her mark on it, which she did as the star and producer of The Loretta Young Show. Topics this segment include "The Road to Lourdes," the controversial episode that Young made in 1956, despite losing one of her sponsors over the show's overt religious overtones.
