Christopher’s mom, Academy Award and Emmy Award-winning actress Loretta Young, was one of the first major motion picture stars to not only embrace television, but leave her mark on it, which she did as the star and producer of The Loretta Young Show. Topics this segment include how Young insisted on bringing motion picture production values to each episode of her series (making them high quality "mini movies") and how she was a hands-on producer at a time when TV production was mostly male-driven.
