TVC 526.6: Emmy Award-winning actor, writer, and producer Kevin Spirtas pays tribute to his colleague Michael Slade. Kevin and Michael co-created After Forever, the multi Emmy Award-winning digital series that has won critical acclaim not only for its portrayal of gay men in their fifties, but for its unflinching honesty in dealing with loss. In an untimely example of life imitating art, Michael Slade died from cancer on Dec. 27, 2020, a few days before the release of Riley’s Unforgettable School Project, a thirty-minute documentary-style stand-alone special that provides a bridge between the end of Season 2 of After Forever and the start of Season 3. Among other topics, Kevin talks to Ed about the blueprint that Michael left behind for Season 3 of After Forever, once it is safe to resume production of the series. Both Seasons 1 and 2 of After Forever, as well as Riley’s Unforgettable School Project, are available for streaming on demand on Amazon Prime Video. Want to advertise/sponsor our show?
