Tanya Rolfe is the co-founder of Her Capital. Her Capital is a seed venture fund in Singapore - investing in female-founded, scalable businesses across Southeast Asia. Tanya’s 15-year legal career at some of the world’s largest law firms has hounded her ability to influence and collaborate with people from diverse disciplines and backgrounds. Eager to enter the world of venture, Tanya founded Ladies Investment Club in Singapore, 2017. Dedicated to helping women who do not have equal opportunities as men, Tanya grew a team of 40 female investors which enabled them to build their investment portfolio and credentials. Knowing that only 3% of VC funding goes to women-led companies and that female-founded companies make up only 6.8% of funded startups, Her Capital actively seeks out female founders and captures their potential for superior returns. In this podcast, she talks about how we can hinder gender inequality in business and how successful women can become if they are given the same opportunities.
