Young Frankenstein Episode 73: The Gospel according to Young Frankenstein

The Young Dr. Frankenstein, still in disguise, yells, "Now!" and a giant cargo net falls on the monster. Then the doctor, joined by Inga and Igor, wrestle with the creature allowing Inga to give him a sedative.  Once back in the secret laboratory, Dr. Frankenstein has decided on a new course of action to try to save his poor creation.  We discuss the original script and how much of the motivations were left on the cutting room floor. In the script, Frau Blucher pulls out a gun to force the doctor to figure out a way to save his creature. The discussion turns toward one of economy instead of so much extraneous dialogue.  Joining us for the first time as our guest on the Wilder Ride is Jody Stancil, pastor at Riverside Community Church, who is a huge fan of the work of Gene Wilder and a good fried of co-host Walt Murray.
