The Who Killed Laura Podcast Ep 28 - I hope it doesn’t hurt this bad in a week   Welcome back to the Who Killed Laura Podcast! Tonight we discus the penultimate episode of the original series. Miss Twin Peaks, aired as part of a two part season finale that ended up being a series finale for the next 25 years. The Final 2 episodes saw a 3 million viewers bump in the ratings to a total of 10.4 million on June 10th, 1991. There was a 6 week break between the airing of the finale and the the previous episode, enough time to generate a little extra buzz for the show. The first half of the finale was written by Barry Pullman and directed Tim Hunter Scott and Chris discuss the Miss Twin Peaks pageant that, as speculated, includes most major female characters as well as the final stages of Windom Earle’s plans, Eckhardt’s mystery box, and Nadine’s delusions. We are in the home stretch and even though this episode aired on the same night as the finale, you’ll have to wait until the next Who Killed Laura Podcast to wrap up the original Television run of Twin Peaks. Of course, Scott and Chris will be back for Fire Walk with Me as well as the upcoming Showtime continuation and maybe even some special episodes on the various Peaks related material!
