On July 21, 2023, the highly anticipated Christopher Nolan film, "OPPENHEIMER," was released. Coincidentally, The Korgis had been in the process of writing a song about the enigmatic figure known as the "Father of the A-Bomb" himself, J. Robert Oppenheimer.Oppenheimer's story is one of complexity and intrigue. While he played a pivotal role in the creation of the atomic bomb, he later dedicated his life to the pursuit of peace. The Korgis recognized the extraordinary nature of Oppenheimer's life and sought to honour his legacy through their music. Collaborating with songwriter Chris Hopkins (aka Exhibit-1) and Al Steele, James Warren spearheaded the creation of a song that would be anything but ordinary, just like Oppenheimer himself.The Korgis brought this ambitious project to life, infusing their signature sound with the profound narrative of Oppenheimer's life. With their meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to musical excellence, they crafted a song that does justice to the complex story of J.
