Wildflowers with Miriam Goldberger

The Sustainable Flowers Podcast - A podcast by Heather & Clara

This week we are chatting with Miriam Goldberger, founder and co-owner of Wildflower Farm in Coldwater, Ontario, Canada.  Miriam and her husband have been flower farming on their land since 1988 and proceeded to develop it from a conventional flower farm (with a lot of focus on everlastings!) to one focused on wildflowers, growing and selling seed for many native Canadian plants.   She is also an author, of the book Taming Wildflowers where she explains how to grow many types of native species, and how to use them as cuts.  We had a great conversation with her about her adventures! Miriam has been very generous with her knowledge on her website, where you can find all kinds of helpful information on growing wildflowers (including her "speed dial" method for perennials !) and starting a meadow.
