An amazing interview with "Buglady Suzanne"

The Sustainable Flowers Podcast - A podcast by Heather & Clara

This week we had the great privilege to chat with Suzanne Wainwright-Evans, "Buglady Suzanne", a horticulture entomologist with 20 years of experience helping horticultural growers of all kinds and sizes with integrated pest management programs, with a focus on biological controls through her company Buglady Consulting.   Clara had the opportunity to attend a workshop Suzanne gave up here in Canada a couple of years ago- and learned SO much.  Suzanne is incredibly knowledgeable and generously shares many insights for biological controls for floriculture in this interview, including managing thrips, broadmites and mealy bugs in your blooms.  You won't want to miss this one! Suzanne refers to the great id tool that Sarah Jandricic at OMAFRA has published- here are  the links Which thrips are in your flower crops Pt.1 "Which thrips are in your flower crops Pt. 2" Simple key to important thrips pests of Canadian greenhouses   Our theme music was composed and performed by Heather's son Callum and audio editing was completed by the uber talented Laura Eccleston.
