The Name Bickers is synonymous with film and TV stunt engineering within the industry. There isn't an action sequence shot in the UK or Europe that includes vehicles that has, most likely, been prepared by Bickers. Nestled quitley in a quaint village in the East Anglian countryside of little old England, this family run business has been respobsible for action vehicle work from Bond films to Mission Impossible for forty years. They are THE to 'go to' people for TOP GEAR and THE GRAND TOUR. They were responsible for developing equipment such as the Fan Descender and has more ramps, pipes, tracking vehicles and stunt engineering equipment you can shake a stick at! In this episode we are taken on a tour of their workshops, storage sheds, tracking vehicle containers and sit down with Paul Bickers himself where we talk about the history of the company, their process of working and discuss the role of stunt engineering within the industry today.
