An interview with Dr. Sabeen Dhand focusing on the role of Interventional Radiology in the care of patients suffering from an ischemic stroke. Hosts: Sanna Herwald & Jagteshwar Sandhu Dr. Dhand discusses his journey to IR, his current practice and his decision to learn and practice stroke therapy. Dr. Dhand also discusses how he as a body IR became involved in what is classically a Neuro Interventional Radiology intervention, the future of stroke therapy, mobile CT Units, and the future of IR in Neuro-IR. They end their discussion with the current trials, DAWN & DEFUSE-3, and their effect on the field.
