Clinical IR & Aortic Disease with Dr. Geogy Vatakencherry by Benjamin Roush & Jagteshwar Sandhu

In today's episode we are joined by Dr. Geogy Vatakencherry while at ISET 2019 to discuss the role of Interventional Radiology in treating aortic aneurysmal disease. We discuss the indications for endograft placement, management of these patients, techniques, and troubleshooting of difficult endografts and endoleaks. We also discuss the importance of maintaining a clinical perspective and treating the patient & the disease, not just performing a procedure. We end our conversation discussing the future of IR and how the new training pathway will help our future Interventional Radiologists to succeed as the patient's doctor, not just the doctor's doctor.
