This is a bonus minisode of the Sod’s Law podcast, recorded in Kraków, Poland, where I traveled to record Ukrainian refugee and aid-worker stories exactly one month after the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Rabbi Eliezer Gurary is the shaliach at the Kraków Chabad House, and like everyone else I’d spoken to had upended his and his family’s life in the last month.
