Ruth Chappell is a friend of the podcast, the lady behind Dressage Anywhere, and she joins us on the podcast to talk all about her first completion of the London Marathon. From Couch to 5k to pushing herself to run 26.2miles for a charity incredibly close to her heart, the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, I wanted to share this story with you. Because if you're feeling like you can't do something you really want to. If you feel something is beyond your reach. Listen to this. Because Ruth felt like this. And she completed the London Marathon and raised well over £2000 for charity. It wasn't smooth sailing (or running). Back issues, blisters and Covid a few weeks before the Marathon threw a bit of a spanner in the works, but she did it. And I couldn't be prouder to celebrate her on the podcast. This is part 1 as it's such a great story and journey I didn't want to edit any out... so join us next week for part 2.
