On Episode 140 of the RETROZEST podcast, Curtis continues the celebration the 45th Anniversary of the premiere of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA! This show is an American science fiction media franchise created by Glen A. Larson. It began with the original television series in 1978, and was followed by a short-run sequel series (Galactica 1980), a line of book adaptations, original novels, comic books, a board game, video games and a reboot series. Assisting Curtis in this endeavor with an exclusive interview is SARAH RUSH, the actress who portrayed Flight Corporal Rigel on the show. Sarah also appeared on shows like The Incredible Hulk, Happy Days, Everybody Loves Raymond, and The Middle. She also had small roles in the Marvel Comics Doctor Strange film (1978), and the Maxwell Smart film The Nude Bomb (1980). In addition to BSG and other parts of her interesting and inspirational story, Sarah talks about her contribution to Saga of a Fugitive Fleet, a recent 4-part Audiobook series (available on Audible or on CD) which was written, directed and produced by Daniel Earnshaw. She also talks about the current GoFundMe Page for Jack Stauffer ("Lt. Bojay") to cover expenses for his recent medical bills (please contribute!).   Incidentally, you may help the RetroZest podcast by purchasing a unique BATTLESTAR GALACTICA T-Shirt or two (many different designs and colors!) from our store at store.retrozest.com/bsg.
