We are so apt to attribute our ills and our troubles to outward causes, to our environment, to the conditions that surround us, to things—desirable things lacking, or undesirable things that are present—while all the time the real cause is sin. Now, sin is simply “missing the mark.” You have an objective and you haven’t realized it, and after a while you’re frustrated…that is sin.
