Alongside this, our Instagram explore pages are filled with infographics urging us to cut out toxic friends, demand compensation for emotional labour, and to prerequisite all important conversations with a check in on the other persons capacity. But how do we assert healthy boundaries without falling down a hole of pseudo-psychological slogans? Should we fight for our friendships, or spot the red flags and act upon them asap?
