Did the Steelers get screwed when it came to the NFL schedule or did they fall into a sweet spot when they play their divisional opponents? Some people seem to have strong doubt in the health of Joe Burrow and the ability of Lamar Jackson against the Steelers. Is Mike Tomlin in more danger than usual to finishing below .500 for the first time ever? Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo from the PG joined the show. Ray said he expects the Cam Heyward contract dispute to go into the summer and possibly training camp. Ray thinks this will be an “odd” contract to negotiate and mentioned how little the team did to address that position in the off-season. He doesn’t like the idea of the Steelers giving out anything long-term to a player of Heyward’s age. Ray doesn’t see the incentive on the Steelers’ end to get anything done soon. Chris asked Ray about his initial thoughts on the schedule and the brutal final stretch the team will face. Ray talked about the challenges that the schedule makers have year after year with more and more streaming services and networks trying to get their pieces of the pie.
