Pirates DFA pitcher, John Perrotto, Debrief

The Pirates have DFA’d Roansy Contreras and we think it is a puzzling move. We are worried that a team with better development will turn him into a star after all.  Pirates scribe John Perrotto from Pittsburgh Baseball Now joined the show. Chris asked John his thoughts on the Paul Skenes debut and what he makes of Skenes as a prospect. John talked about what the Pirates plan should be to build around some of the good young pitchers. John doesn’t like the lack of accountability within that building, especially when the team plays poorly. John said at some point you just have to play your best players.
