Ep 173: Erica Hernandez Talks True Lies (2023)

In this episode, Robs Daniel and Wallis are delighted to welcome Erica Hernandez to the show. Hernandez stars in the new CBS series True Lies, based on the James Cameron and Arnold Schwarzenegger 1994 blockbuster. The premise is the same - a frustrated wife, worried her husband is having an affair, discovers he is a secret agent - and the series packs in all the action of the movie while expanding the characters. Hernandez plays Maria, a character who is part of the spy team and created especially for the show. She talked to the Robs about the fun and excitement to be had making a hi-octane TV series, accompanied by a feisty dog called Milo.  True Lies premieres Wednesday, March 1 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the  CBS Television Network and will be available on the CBS app and for  streaming on Paramount+.
