Ep 143: Deep Water

Episode 143 sees Robs Daniel & Wallis in Deep Water, with Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas. Which is fitting, considering this is the first time the Robs have tackled an erotic thriller. So, what do they make of this glossy movie, filmed back in 2019 and debuting on Amazon Prime here in the UK?  The pedigree is not bad. Affleck and de Armas are genuine movie stars, and in the director's chair sits Adrian Lyne. You know, the guy who made Fatal Attraction back in 1987, and has made a career for himself directing good looking films about good looking people in bad relationships. 9 1/2 Weeks, Indecent Proposal, Lolita, Unfaithful. Adrian has a type. This is the first movie Lyne has made since 2002's Unfaithful. So, slip into something comfortable and hear what we have to say about his latest.
