The Movement, Strength & Play Podcast - A podcast by School of Calisthenics - Wednesdays

This week we get deep and technical into what is takes and what it means to have 'high performing shoulders' because we had the awesome pleasure of having one of the leading shoulder experts in the world Eric Cressey on the podcast!Eric Cressey, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (in the US), received his Master’s Degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science through the University of Connecticut Department of Kinesiology, the #1 ranked kinesiology graduate program in the United States.Eric is perhaps best known for his extensive work with baseball players, with more than 100 professional players traveling to train with him each off-season. The forces and speed that baseball players shoulder have to produce and are subject to are a real challenge and something that Eric has become an expert in and his success in this area is why he's so highly respected in the Strength & Conditioning world. We were so excited to pick his brains about shoulder performance, how what he's learned with athletes shoulders in high demanding sports can relate to the demand on our shoulders placed through calisthenics. We hope you enjoy this one as much as we did.
