Episode 83 // Talking Mental Health with expert Harriet Frew

The Movement, Strength & Play Podcast - A podcast by School of Calisthenics - Wednesdays

Mental health is such an important topic and most of us that have ever trained in any shape or form will have experienced at some level, thoughts around our abilities and body image when comparing ourselves to others. We believe calisthenics can be so good for our mental health as we get encouraged to have fun with our training, explore new ways to move, learn new skills and focuses more on what our bodies can do rather than how they look. It's something we are super passionate about and therefore jumped at the chance to have mental health expert Harriet Frew on the podcast as a guest and we're excited to share what we learned from her. Ultimately we hope this podcast will resonate and help anyone out there dealing with similar issues that we all fight on a daily basis .Let us know what you thought or the podcast and please share we anyone that you feel it may help.
