74 The Cost of Self Betrayal

At midlife we are being called to STOP our self betrayal, but it can be very hard to do for many reasons. Firstly, we might not even realise that we're doing it. Or we might feel very defiant about budgeting for our kids wellbeing but not our own.  Self betrayal can occur in a big way, for example staying in toxic relationships, or they can occur in a small way, for example, those daily compromises to our health which seem like nothing on the surface but over time they are like a drip of water gently wearing away a hard stone.   Either way, self betrayal has a huge impact on our physical, emotional and mental wellbeing, which at midlife, we need more than ever.  In this episode we talk about what self betrayal looks like and how we can start to heal from it.
