He eventually became an editor for the Nashville Tennessean. In September 1954 Fontenay, the science fiction writer, was published for the first time in If Worlds of Science Fiction magazine with the short story, Disqualified. Seems he liked writing sci-fi and If Worlds of Science Fiction liked his work because he was back in the magazine a month later. Fontenay wrote a handful of novels and almost 40 short stories in the 1950s.We’ll find today’s story on page 78 in the April 1957 edition of Infinity Science Fiction magazine.
