Angela Mollard

Whether you read her column every Sunday over a cup of tea or watch her on your TV screen, Angela Mollard’s gentle words and familiar face are a weekly staple for many. To celebrate her 53rd birthday, Angela made like Gwyneth Paltrow and took her kit off for a bare-all photoshoot. Why? Angela prefers the question “why not?”, because according to her, adventures aren’t reserved for the young. This is just one of many lessons we learned from our chat with Ang, whose life reads like a choose-your-own-adventure; from turning down career opportunities in favour of a job she loves, to divorcing amicably, to raising teen girls, and building a house just for her. When it comes to decision-making, Angela is a woman of action, fuelled by a confidence and assuredness she’s found in her middle years. So, what happens when you “decide rather than slide”?
