We We’re Stuck In A Rut

In this week’s podcast episode Charlotte and Paula will be talking about feeling like you’re stuck in a rut and demotivated, with tips on how to overcome that feeling.What is being ‘stuck in a rut’?Feeling overwhelmed and like your business isn’t moving forward.How can you overcome this?Firstly, look at all of your services for your clients. What you are currently offering, pricing, everything! Speak to existing clients to see how you can improve your service. For example, we asked TLC members and most of them said there's so much valuable TLC content and too little time to do this. To help with this we have now reduced uploading a new topic from every 4 weeks to 8 weeks, and instead implemented more support.Secondly, review your marketing. For example social media, blogs, email marketing etc. Look at your reports, sit and reflect on what content has done well, what could you improve on, how many enquires you got from it and any trends you see. Also, think abot whether you enjoying doing each marketing activity, and how much money you are spending on them. For example, if you are doing Facebook ads and spending loads of money but getting barely any enquires from it, then maybe you need to spend that money on something else.If you focus on things that you like doing, you are going to be happier in your business.Thirdly is reviewing business practices like invoices etc. If you don’t enjoy doing these, why not think about outsourcing?
