Three Ideas for a Great Year

This week’s podcast episode is me sharing with you three ideas to have a great year! It’s a new year, full of new starts and a renewed motivation to build our businesses. In the latest issue of The Landscaper Magazine I have written about these three ideas and thought it would be a great podcast for you. Idea 1 - Get creative and plan! Start with a vision board - see episode 149 - for more on creating your vision board. Gain clarity, align with your vision and your mission and set some goals. Then create some great habits that will keep you energetically aligned with greatness and finally spend some time planning and connecting back to the cashflow - the tangibles in your business. Idea 2 - Carve time out for self care. Self care encompasses everything that enables you to stay physically and mentally healthy. Often connected to wellness and mindfulness it helps manage stress and elevates energy. Self care activities include; healthy eating, rest, exercise, sunlight, meditation, journalling, hydration, walks etc. The key is to make time to do something you enjoy that makes you feel good and make it a habit. Prioritise your time and set up boundaries in life and business that will enable you to do these things. Check out this episode all about boundaries. Idea 3 - Surround yourself with a support network to promote success. A support network should be a team of people that are in your life that you can turn to for encouragement and support. This is proven to reduce anxiety and stress. Only allow positive influences only and  beware of the energy vampires. Look at local networks for business, industry networks and mentors. The Landscaper’s Circle was created for this reason to be a supportive network in which to get uplifted and inspired. I mentor other landscapers to be their support, sounding board and guide in their business. Main point being - find your people!
