It’s really easy, initially look at your dream list of contacts that will make a difference to your business. This list could contain associations, suppliers, possible collaborations and more. How do you go about making contact? Utilise your social media platforms. It is by far the easiest and quickest way to contact people. No-one has loads of time on their hands so quick and easy is key.Once on social then be social! Follow them and (most importantly) interact i.e. comment on posts, like, participate in polls and comment on their stories. But don’t be spammy. Remember that once you start engaging with (and building rapport) someone they will then start to look at your social profiles which is (or should be) a shop window for your business. So, make sure you are showcasing the best of you and your business.Don’t forget to utilise tags and hashtags. Especially if posting a project photo that showcases a manufacturers product. This could lead to sharing of your post and enables you to then reach a broader audience.
