Important Announcement: Practice What You Preach!

In this week’s podcast episode I am giving you an insight into the recent events in my landscaping and garden design business that could have gone terribly wrong. Going into the second week of the summer holidays and now having childcare planned for 3 days this week means I can focus work on my businesses on these days. Recently I noticed I hadn’t updated the cash flow forecast for 2-3 months and a few issues had become apparent. I woke up one morning at 5am and knew I needed to just get it done and then look at solutions. With everyone still being asleep in the house I could focus entirely on looking at the business from a financial and planning perspective. There is a book I high recommend, called Eat That Frog and it’s about getting your big tasks done first and the smaller tasks after to stop yourself from putting off the bigger tasks! This is what I did with  the overdue cash flow forecasting. A tip I have for you is if your going to look for problems then you’re not going to move forward however, if you would like to change your mind set, always know there is always a way to get out of any mess you’re in and there is always a solution. Secondly, please remember we are all human! We all make mistakes and the most important thing to do is to learn from these and make improvements that will ensure you are continuing to be successful in your business.
