How Business Networking Changed Everything

In this week's podcast episode, Charlotte and Paula will be discussing business networking - whether that’s via in person events or social media, and how it changes everything in your business. You can meet so many different contacts in a variety of ways from messaging them on social or even meeting them outside the industry in public spaces. Before having children, Paula use to meet up with a network group at 6am in the morning and in the past week, she has had 3 different people get in contact to price a job. One of them who remembered her from when Paula did a presentation 8 years ago at an event. It’s about building those relationships For example when you connect with someone on LinkedIn, DO NOT send a salesy message as they will most likely not reply. Instead, engage with their posts. Then when you want to get in touch with them, send them a message to book in a Zoom call or meet in your local coffee shop.
